Feeding ourselves engages a massive infrastructure, advanced technologies, and dynamic systems that touch on just about every aspect of the world we live in. Each step from farm to table reflects a set of values and connections that impact our identities and shape our future.
We have moved in to the design phase of the Las Vegas Food Hub Studio. My two partners, William Pigeon and Sultan AlSamhan, are pushing forward with principles of education, outreach, and experiential quality. We have began creating a mission statement, along with completing final site analysis. We are constructing on the current site of the Las Vegas Bus Terminal, a building that was once a farmer's market. We have a strong vision for the business model we are wishing to achieve. Through modern social media and branding techniques, our food hub will be designed for the future generation of local food.

We will be visiting Las Vegas March 2-6 to conduct further on site investigation, however for new we are preparing for an in class review with RDG Planning and Design, a firm we are collaborating with throughout this semester. Things are picking up around here!
